Scouting Sections

Scouting is open to all young people aged 6 - 25 of every faith and background.

There are four Sections:-

The Section and Programme

Beaver Scouts 6 - 8 year olds

"The best thing we did was swim in the rain. I wasn't even sure we were allowed to, but it was brilliant! I mean we were wet anyway, so I guess it didn't matter too much about the weather".

Cub Scouts 8 - 10 1/2 year olds

"The best part of Scouting is definitely the camps. I love every activity we do apart from swimminig. They told us the pool was 24 degrees centigrade - more like minus 24 !!"

Scouts 10 1/2 - 14 year olds

"It's good to get out basically. I wasn't too keen to go to Scouts to begin with but now it's a good laugh. All the activities we do are fun and I've made loads of great mates."

Explorer Scouts 14 - 18 year olds

"To anyone who hasn't tried Scouting before, I'd say come on up and have a go! I think that most people don't really know that Scouting is about activites, friendship and meeting people from other countries, I've been in Scouting since I was a Beaver and I still love it!"
